I was very excited for this book, but I found it very boring. The plot is very dry and nothing seems to happen in the book. Very disappointed after reading books like "The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs" as told by the wolf. Arrived in good condition.

my 9 year old has a cinderella book collection from many countries. we thought this could be cute, but it is a VERY short book. the questions asked in the back of the book are fantastic though, for example, what is different from the story you have heard, who is more believable. also, the pictures were reused on several pages so we spent times counting how many time the picture was reused. we purchased it because we thought it was a great idea (like wicked) but would have enjoyed it more if the story was more in depth. so, we would not recommend purchasing it, but cute to borrow, or just take 6 minutes to read at the library.

I bought this to teach a lesson on point of view. Both my fourth and fifth graders love the story and reread it often. They also refer to the characters in other discussions from time to time.
