Contemporary Romance-For the Spanking Fan

I enjoyed this book. Ross and Mia broke up years before the book's action over a misunderstanding that was believable due to their ages at the time. Just Right For Me is the story of their reuniting. This time they are both more mature, and ready to do the hard work a long term relationship requires. It's so much easier (and safer) to just walk away!
With the example of Mia's sister's marriage to his best friend, Ross decides to use dominant male tactics, called Domestic Discipline in this novel, to win Mia back. Mia is intelligent and independent, so the idea of her lover as an authority figure is offputting. But Mia is also honest with herself, and has always found herself sexually aroused by the idea.
The characters in Just Right for Me are well developed and well rounded. They're real people, not cut outs. The situation is believable for a woman of today (which tends to be important to me as a reader, dang it!). Mary Wehr can write-so things move along at a good pace, and there's some HOT spankings and HOTTER sex....
Go buy it.

Just Right for Me is Just Right for You Too

Just right for me is a charming and engaging book about two people who need to find each other after a fateful breakup years ago. Each is hurting for their own reasons, but like puzzle pieces, they fit together and make a loving and tender relationship.

This is a very well-written book, full of romance, erotic encounters, and spankings. Believe me, Mia deserves every one she gets, and Ross isn't hesitant to dole them out when her behavior merits it. Neither has been in a domestic discipline relationship before, but after seeing their good friends' success with it, they find they want to try. Once this decision is made, they're each too stubborn to let it end.
Domestic discipline works well for Mia and Ross, and they find their happy ever after – not to mention a sweet pet kitten.

I recommend this book by Mary Wehr. If you enjoy Blushing Books or Bethany's Woodshed, you'll love Just Right for Me, and even if you're not familiar with those publishers, the romance in this delightful story will keep you coming back for more.

Very good read! I loved the characters in this book and all the spankings ;) Ross can spank me anytime. If you love a good romance and a great spanking you must pick this one up!

Highly entertaining, deliciously sexy as sin, and incredibly intense.

Reasonable Doubt: Volume 3 is HERE! This serial series has taken off like CRAZY! Whitney Gracia Williams was an unknown to me at the start, and now her name is on every romance reader’s newsfeed and social media! Volume 3 is the final installment of this series! I can already hear the collective BOOHOO all over the world! I’m almost 100% sure that since everyone fell in love with this serial and these great characters, I bet we haven’t heard the last of Andrew Hamilton and his dirty, DIRTY mouth!

Highly entertaining, deliciously sexy as sin, and incredibly intense, Reasonable Doubt will set your eReaders on fire! The storyline had me hooked in Volume 1 and kept me engaged through the very end. Andrew Hamilton is a hero you will love to hate, and hate to love. He is a complete a**hole at times, and can be incredibly frustrating and stubborn. The thing is, in the final installment of this series, you get to see, what I call, the REAL Andrew! You learn about Andrew’s past and the COMPLETE HELL that he went through, and you understand why he is the way he is. I was so connected with Andrew, that this revelation was very emotional for me.

This volume starts off in a VERY hostile environment. The truth has come out, and ANDREW is pissed! AUBREY is pissed because Andrew is pissed, and we jump right back on the crazy roller coaster ride that is their relationship. A few curse words are thrown, some unknown substances are placed in people’s coffee, and hate email are all the rage! It’s hilarious as hell, but at the same time, your heart aches for these two. You go into this knowing that they will eventually get their Happily Ever After, but the road to that HEA is a tough, emotional, and steamy ride.

All in all, the series tied up very nicely, and I was satisfied with the conclusion. I only hope that one day Ms. Williams will bring us more Andrew and that filthy, sexy mouth of his.

Oustanding Ending to a Great Series!!!

RD3 is the final installment in this very steamy and extremely entertaining novella series. Whitney G definitely knows how to grip her readers and keep you coming back for more.

Aubrey finally does what she has always done - follows her dreams. She leaves Andrew behind and attempts to move forward. Andrew made it clear that he is sticking to his "One Dinner. One Night. No Repeats." mantra.

"Sorry to see that you regret meeting me, as I don't regret meeting you - only that I f*&$ed you more than once."

Aubrey finds herself again and begins a life away from Andrew. Andrew believes that he doesn't need Aubrey in his life anymore in that way. But we finally get to see another side of Andrew and answers to all of our questions.

I love the texts and emails between these two. These definitely know how to get under the other's skin. You can never fight an attraction as intense as theirs.

Whitney does a great job of tying everything together and delivering an awesome story.

This novella series is highly recommended!!!!

The best of all! great end to an interesting couple

I felt like I could finally breathe when the 3rd book in the series came out. I was disappointed with book one because I felt like I had already read a similar story line but in book two it became clear where the difference was. The characters put each other through such unexpected but likely to really happen situations. The lying and secrets helped build the plot line as well as gave us a clear view of the type of people these two were. This was the first set of books by the author that I've read and originally I didn't think I'd come back after book one but now I've read all of her books that are available now. I waited for this book for a while and I'm glad I didn't turn away during the wait but instead read her midlife love series which shows even more depth and story that the reasonable doubt series. If you are just starting g this series and haven't read any of Dr other books this is a good series to start. I don't like giving away too much info about a story but I will say, ballerina , lawyer, lies, love, sex!!!

Self-centred, domineering (NOT dominating) male leads

I really liked how the story started, but after that it went downhill fast. I liked how Nick and Sean have been observing Megan, so they're not just attracted to her for how she looks, but also because they've seen her kind heart. I liked how Megan had been shyly stealing glances at them every time they visited her office building, but thinking she probably wouldn't have a chance with two such handsome hunks. The beginning was very promising.

But then... when the guys find out she has lost her job... and they feel responsible for it... instead of approaching her with an offer like a normal person, they pay her rent anonymously, go behind her back and arrange things with her roommate so that she's put in a position she's extremely uncomfortable with. That's creepy stalker behavior. Couldn't they have just approached Megan directly and asked her out to dinner, like any other normal man who's interested in a woman? Apparently not.

And then, when they realize she's new to BDSM, do they slow down and try to ease her into it, gradually introduce her to their world? No, they warn her, "We play hard," and proceed to take the crop to her as a punishment for "insolence", when they had not told her earlier that she should not do the thing they were punishing her for. That was unfair and uncalled for. The only saving grace was that they allowed her to choose a safe word before they started. They're very rough with her, they threaten to punish her further if she screams or makes any sounds -- this despite the fact that they know all this is new to her, the first time she's experiencing pain this way, she's never learned how to contain herself. I felt that it was unreasonable and it ruined the story for me. Not caring, not romantic, just selfish and self-centred. Only about what THEY wanted, not about what she might want. They didn't think about how frightening she might be finding it... granted she had a safe word and could use it, and granted she seemed to be getting turned on by what they were doing to her, but still...

So I didn't like Nick and Sean, I didn't get the sense that they cared for Megan. The way they tried to dictate to her and run her life -- "You aren't to dress like this in public again" -- if they were in a relationship, perhaps they might have a right to say that, but at that point, there was no relationship to speak of. There's a thin line between being dominating and domineering, and they crossed it. The story was hot, yeah, but the male leads quite ruined it for me.

Kind of Creepy, and Too Domineering For Me . . . (Mild Spoilers Ahead)

The two male leads in this story are not very nice and they don't treat the female lead very well in my opinion. I like stories that may contain domination, but at the core the characters cherish each other in equal measure. This is not the case with this story. The men's behavior is 'stalker-ish' in the beginning and kind of scary somewhere in the middle. I mean, at one point they grab her up from her waitress job and even though she is clearly struggling and doesn't want to go with them, not one person who sees what's going on tries to help her. And it's not like there were any indications to the witnesses that the three of them had any form of a relationship. But they didn't interfere because they were employees of the two male leads or their friends who subscribe to the BDSM lifestyle. So these guys could have been abducting her to rape and disembowel her . . . and nobody did anything to stop them. I kept thinking that it's a good thing these were supposedly "good" guys, because if they ever turn abusive toward her, she won't have anyone to help her and no way to escape. Even her roommate (who doesn't even know the male leads) helps them get to her, after the female lead explicitly said she didn't want to speak to them again after the first encounter she had with them (which said roommate had also set up). Creepy. And time for a new roommate.

Then there's the whole punishing her for breaking rules that she wasn't even aware of. And then when she complains about the unfairness of that, they tell her "life isn't fair". I kept wondering why she stayed with them when they kept doing things she didn't like and that were setting off warning bells in here head. Very dysfunctional. In fact, her internal dialogue during some of the scenes was quite uncomfortable. They're punishing her or do something to her, and she wants to use her safe word, but talks herself out of it at the last minute because she wants them so badly. I could be wrong, but I don't think that doms in healthy relationships want their subs ignoring their limits because they're afraid of losing them. And I suppose some people get off on the whole punishment for making sounds thing, but to me that just seems to take all the fun out of it and makes for an extremely tense scene. Just wrong. Not my cup of tea. The writing in this story isn't bad in of itself. Just didn't like the storyline or character behavior. Glad this book was free.

Disappointing all around...

I really did not care for this book. I felt like there was little to no story and what little there was was only a vehicle to deliver sex. Don't get me wrong I love sex in a book as much as most readers but I don't enjoy feeling like the story takes second place to the sex. The story (IMHO) should take precedence over the sex not the other way around. I don't think I will be reading any more from this author.

A Professor's View of "Introductory Electronics..."

As a second year undergraduate Biomedical Engineering student I used Simpson's text for my first Biomedical Instrumentation class at Duke University. At the time the professor told us that we would have a tough time with the book, but over time we would find that it was an outstanding reference and as our sophistication grew we would come to appraciate it more. That has certainly been the case!
As a professor now, teaching my own Biomedical Instrumentation class I still find this text to be the best on out there. It provides a thorough background on many of the key concepts of Electrical Engineering including AC and DC circuits, Fourier analysis, Semiconductor Physics, Transistors, Op Amps, Op Amp Ciucuits, Digital Logic, and even microprocessors. Some of this is admittedly dated, especially the digital sections, but the fundamentals are all there and I have not seen another book that covers so much, so clearly.
One of the great features of this text is its practical bent. There is a whole chapter on noise; describing phyical sources and some ways of dealing with probelms. There is also an excellent appendix describing various types of capacitors, inductors, and resistors. It answers great questions like: Should I use a ceramic capacitor in my design or an aluminum electrolytic?
Of the roughly 50 books on the shelf in my office, this is the one that is most commonly missing. I recommend this book as an excellent reference in an area where there are a lot of books available.

THE reference book on electronics

I highly recommend Simpson's book. It provides clear, accurate information on all those things that we may have missed (or forgotten). His treatment of solid state devices is detailed, but accurate (too many other books gloss over the SS theory).

The only reason that I can't give it 5 stars is it's age. I would prefer an updated edition. If you have a copy, keep it.

Just as important as your tools

Having the right tools for working on guitars is essential, but without the knowledge of knowing exactly how to work on a guitar, your tools are simply paper weight. Billy's guide is something every guitar should keep in their tool box, or on their iPad, like myself. You'll never be left in the dark if you have something to reference. There is a lot of information to take in from a skillful musician and scientist like Billy Penn, who has years of experience to back him up. His work comes through in every guitar he touches or amp he creates. If you haven't heard a Penn Amp in person, you're mistreating your ears. Get this guide and treat your guitar the right way.

Great way to learn how to maintain your own guitars and save LOTS of money, too!

I have been playing the guitar and bass for many years but knew little about
how to repair them - UNTIL NOW.

Thanks to Billy Penn's Guitar Set Up Guide I can now do neck adjustments,
set the intonation and maintain my guitars and basses.

Billy is well known in the NY/NJ metro area for his guitar playing, instrument repair and amplifier building skills.

I have visited his 300guitars Shop in Long Branch, NJ several times. He always does a great job.

His book is clearly written, concise, easy to follow and best of all - it
will save me a LOT of money.

An excellent guide to guitar setup for the do-it-yourselfer

This is an excellent, quick read on setting up your own guitar(s). Why pay someone and wait when you can easily set it up yourself? It takes you through the finer points and when combined with Billy's video on YouTube; it's all you really need to setup your own instruments in a very efficient, professional manner. Highly recommended and well worth the price. As mentioned...be sure to go to YouTube and see Billy's videos for a visual overview of what you're doing as well.
