It's the missing piece in all the "how-to" books.

Oh my goodness, finally someone who get's it and doesn't assume making new habits is easy. It makes me crazy when people say "you JUST need to make it a lifestyle change." If it were so durned easy, don't you think we'd have done it by now? Anyway, this workbook is a paint-by-numbers plan that doesn't leave out vital steps and includes strategies I've never read about before - like how to get off the couch when you feel paralyzed. The plan design comes from solid behavior mod and learning theory science, but it manages to be funny/playful. It's written for self-help program drop-outs. That's me! It doesn't assume your motivation will last, you will remember what you meant to do, or that your life might not be totally chaotic. I think it needs a different title, but otherwise, I recommend it for regular and ADDish people, as well as therapists/coaches who want a systematic method to help their clients build new habits like mindfulness practices, exercise, writing, dealing with finances, paper piles, etc.
