LIFE SAVER!

This book has saved me countless times in my Asian Philosophy class. It can be stated that without this book, my grade in the class would be significantly lower than it is right now. It actually walks you through the concepts and helps draw a clear line between actual Asian philosophy and Western Asian philosophy.

Kupperman's book is clear and informative. He uses a conversational tone. I recommend this book for anyone interested in a supplement that will help them read some of the principle texts. This book, however, might be difficult for students seeking a basic introduction or a more advanced commentary. I remember it sitting some distance between the two.
